Indian citizen with Foreign Certificate of Competency recognized by India must acquire relevant endorsement from D.G. Shipping.
One-year post qualification experience as Master/ Chief Officer of a foreign going ship.

Age Details

Upper age limit is 40 years.
Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
Age relaxation of 15 years for existing employees of Major Port Authorities.
Age relaxation for ex-servicemen as per applicable Government guidelines/directions.
PwBD candidates get 10 years relaxation in addition to category relaxation, not exceeding age of 56 years in any case.
